Our goal is not only to create a treatment centre based on our experience in St. Petersburg, but also to share our experience with Georgian specialists, as well as (what is most important for us) to grow up our specialists in the field of pediatric angiology and vascular surgery, thereby creating a unique school operating only in Georgia! Specialists in this field can treat not only pediatric vascular diseases, but also provide essential assistance to our colleagues in related specialities: microsurgical techniques of pediatric vascular surgeons are used in all areas of surgery: abdominal, thoracic, oncologist surgery, etc.

For this purpose, we cooperate and plan to expand our cooperation with medical institutions in Georgia for the purpose of: organising training programs for specialists (pediatric surgeons, vascular surgeons, and pediatricians of various profiles), conducting lectures at universities for students and residents, and as far as is practical to organise residency programs to grow up specialists. The scientific part is of great importance – the establishment of a problematic laboratory will also contribute to the development of specialists in this field in our region.

We have already founded a medical centre. The next goal is to turn it into a scientific and educational base for young doctors and specialists in order to increase the level of medicine and improve the quality of life for our little citizens.
