Treatment of hemangiomas and superficial vascular diseases with laser sclerosing, using the Candela VBeam device in the Caucasus region is carried out only in our clinic – no other clinic has the experience of using such a device, and the device itself, which specializes specifically in vascular pathologies. No other laser device has proven effectiveness in the treatment of hemangiomas and vascular malformations. At this point, in St. Petersburg, we have more than 20 years of experience working with this particular model of the device, and as a result, more than 40,000 children with the mentioned pathology have been cured – in all cases, considering the treatment plan (schedule) and recommendation, the obtained result was good/excellent.
The principle of using a laser is based on reducing the vascularization of the problem area, and as a result stopping the growth potential and accelerating the regression of formations; In cases of capillary dysplasia, the principle of action is aimed at sclerosing the small capillary circulation and gradual “lightening” of the treatable area. The treatment takes place without damaging the skin surface, does not leave scars, and gives us a sustainable positive result.
The following rules must be observed: a special rule must be carried out according to the courses (usually 1 course includes 3 procedures) evaluating results after every course. During a year are carries the fixed amount of procedures – it have no sense to carried out only one procedure or non-fixed impulse amount during a year. The result is assessed by a dermatologist-laser therapist, by ascular surgeon, in the case of hemangioma by a radiologist.
Laser sclerotherapy treatment in our center is available not only for children, but also for adults (at a time specially scheduled for them), because before the existence of our clinic there was no such opportunity for many years, and children who should have received early treatment have grown up and still have “childhood” disease. The results of the treatment of adults are no less effective than those of children (see the results of our patients in our gallery).
